Patrick McMath – President/CEO

I have been in the environmental service industry since 1996 starting out as a route salesman for parts cleaners, oil services and vacuum services. I then moved onto tank cleaning on land and shipboard. I decided that I could eventually own my own business and provide the service that my clients deserved and had expected from me in the past. In 2009 I came to work for Mr. William Black and in 2013 acquired his business upon his retirement. I still provide the services that he started in 1985 and want to welcome you to our family of sales and service people.

My hobbies today include drag racing with my son not only as a crew chief but also as a driver. We race from Ohio to West Palm Beach as a family and enjoy what we have accomplished over the past few years.

Nate Butler – Business Development Manager

I have been in the environmental service industry since 1985 starting out as a route salesman for parts cleaners, and dry-cleaning services. I was promoted and became the first Branch Industrial Manager for the Safety- Kleen corporation in 1990. As an Industrial manager I was able to gain a vast amount of knowledge dealing with small and large quantity generators of hazardous waste materials. Serving clients in the Hampton Roads, Richmond, and Roanoke Virginia areas has given me the opportunity to work with all different types of industrials. My clients will find that I am knowledgeable and am willing to listen and work with them to determine the best method available to assist with the handling of hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, and electronic waste streams.

My hobbies include golfing, eating delicious food, and spoiling my grandchildren! I am also the Vice President of a non-profit that focuses on uplifting the community.

Joshua Cuffee – Business Development Manager

 I have been in the environmental service industry since 1991, providing services of removing industrial type waste, servicing parts washers, oil recovery and also vacuum services.  I believe in building a relationship with my customers and take tremendous pride in my work. I have been with W.L. Black going on 8 years now, (where I plan to eventually retire).

I love spending time with my family and going on vacations. My hobbies are swimming, playing softball and basketball. I get to travel with the softball team playing tournaments in different states along with my family.

Dorothy McMath – Corporate Secretary/Treasurer

I started working part time at W. L. Black and associates as an Administrative Assistant in 2010. In 2012, I was promoted to Bookkeeper/Office Manager. In 2013, when my husband acquired the business, I was then elected to the Secretary/Treasurer position.

An avid animal lover, I support many local animal rescues including those that serve to rehabilitate injured wildlife and assist community cats throughout Hampton Roads. When not at work, you can find me at the racetrack crewing for my husband and son in in their drag racing endeavors.

Karen Redmon– Assistant Office Manager

I have been working for W.L. Black & Associates for 5 years. I am from New England and have lived in Virginia for 10 years. My time off is spent with my husband, 2 cats and a chiweenie.
